A London Foodie Favorite: The Breakfast Club!

Early July the fiancé and I celebrated our one-year engagement anniversary. For the occasion we decided to try out a London foodie landmark we hadn’t been to yet – The Breakfast Club! It was so delicious I thought I’d tell you all about it, so you can try it out next time you’re in London!

The Breakfast Club in Angel – Yum!

The Breakfast Club is a restaurant/café chain which serves delicious breakfast and brunch foods all day long. Their menu is full of delicious dishes and drinks including savory, sweet, indulgent, healthy and vegetarian options. There are six locations throughout London: Angel, Soho, Hoxton, Spitalfields, Battersea Rise and London Bridge (soon!)… and the queues are notoriously long every weekend.

We went to the one in Angel, and actually didn’t have to queue at all as we decided to sit outside! Most people preferred sitting indoors, and we saw them queueing for at least thirty minutes. So if you go on a cold day, be prepared to queue a while – but trust me, the food, drinks and the atmosphere are so worth it!

The Breakfast Club Angel Latte and Smoothie The Breakfast Club Angel All American Pancakes The fiancé opted for a healthy smoothie with bananas, strawberries, yoghurt and muesli, and I went for a vanilla latte. We ended up splitting both, they were delicious! It was hard choosing our dish though, everything sounded so good. We finally both picked the All American Pancakes – two fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, delightfully crispy bacon strips, sausages, scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes. Yum! It wasn’t very expensive at all – our two tall drinks and ridiculously full plates cost about £30 total. I highly recommend The Breakfast Club for all breakfast and brunch lovers like me :)
